We are staying at the Oasis RV Resort along the Snake River just outside of Huntington. We pulled in on Saturday afternoon. There is no internet service here so today we drove into Huntington where we are setting at a picnic table outside the county library. It is very relaxing at this little park and the weather is about 85 degrees.
We spent today worshiping the Lord at Calvary Baptist Church in Weiser, Idaho. We then drove around Weiser sightseeing. God is good. He has provided our need for worship and now the need to see if all is okay back home through the internet.
We will be heading to Baker City tomorrow morning where we will spend two nights. We want to take a tour of Hell's Canyon. Well, everyone take care and post something on the blog if you get a chance.
Good idea you had about sitting outside the library to access the internet. Aunt Lucille's son Donald and most of his family are in the Weiser area but Donald is in Alaska right now. I love the Baker City area. It is beautiful. Enjoy and stay safe.

Have a great time at Hell's Canyon--the photos I've seen of that area are spectacular! Are you planning a trip up into the Wallowa Valley too? That is an amazing place also--although the road there is a very interesting one!

No Bill, we have not tried any fishing yet. The areas that had places to fish were so windy and rainy while we were there.
ReplyDeleteNo Beckie we are not going to the Wallowa Valley area. And the trip up Hell's Canyon was really great. Lots of beautiful scenery and lots of step rocky cliffs. We took lots of pictures but I haven't had time to post them yet.
