Family Visit & Dinner!

Margaret, Tara, and I all went over to Bill and Amy's house yesterday evening for a spaghetti dinner. Amy is sure a good cook. Everything tasted so good and there was lots to eat.

It was such a blessing to have all three grand kids together. Tara is now fourteen years old and is doing so well in school. Both Jack and Sam are growing like weeds and are so energetic.

While there, Bill showed me and Margaret all of his vegetable starts that he plans on replanting into his garden when it warms up a bit. Of course we were all entertained by Jack and Sam who played with different games and showed us their puzzles.

The Heater Family

Hello out there to all, We are doing fine. We just got back from Prosser ,WA. We went there to pick up our newest family member from a shelter. His name ia also Buddy but he is much smaller and not a sheperd. He is 11 mo. old and 26 pounds. A Shiba Inu Spitz mix. I am enclosing his picture that we took just before we left the shelter. He has already brought us much joy. As most of you know, we lost our Buddy of 15 years in Feb. of this year. It was very painful for us but I think God led us to little Buddie ( we changed the spelling to keep things straight.) He needed us as much as we needed him. He gets along well with the cat too. This past Monday I cut the end off of my pointer finger. It was pretty nasty, but is doing better. I was actually trying to be nice to the birds by cutting up some hard stale seed bread. Everyone says I should not be around sharp objects, they are probably right. This is the worst I have done to myself yet. Oh well I think it is healing, it just needs a lot of protection so it doesn't get bumped. I am making doggie treats today. Peanut butter ones. Going to try one myself after all I KNOW what is in mine. On our way back from Washington we stopped in Hermiston and visited with Aunt Mary's daughter Betty and her family. Took a few pictures.. Just tried the doggie cookies. Not bad,no sugar so not sweet enough for my taste but he seems to like them.
Love, Hugs & Blessings to all

Update From Us +

Spring is here and our garden is changing on a daily basis--yellow forsythia, lilac daphne & rhododendron, white pieris & plum, pink camellias and more. Birds are singing and the koi seem happy and eager to start their annual feeding schedule whenever I'm around the pond! It is beautiful here (even when the sky isn't blue) and all the work of redoing our Japanese and other gardens have given me both a diversion and blessing.
Hubby man is fine too:) He enjoys visits and e-mails from Jenn and the kids. Speaking of changes and the kids --here is Baby C about 1/2 month ago. The little one is growing and is now, per her mom, enjoying veggies and bananas -- ah, the joy of pureed bananas!
Blessings, b

The Childs Update

We have moved into our own Apt. now. So very cozy, being by ourselves has helped the boys in lots of ways. Anyone who knows my mom can understand that it isn't easy living with her. Austin is still going through a rough time with all the mess, Conner is getting big, and following his big brother's footsteps. Me, Well, I am trying to keep my sanity and work full time at the chip factory. Well that's it from this end. God bless you all. Tammy

Good Morning from Roseburg!

It has been several days since I have updated everyone on how the other half of the clan is doing in Douglas County.

Margaret and I are just getting over the Roseburg Crud. However, Trey is now suffering from it. I called Trey on the phone last night and he really sounded bad.

Trey is waiting for the first of the month to see if he will get a call from North River Boats to come back to work. There's a good chance that they will be hiring a few welders back on.

Bill, Amy and the boys are doing fine. Bill is now working as a Wildlife Biologist instead of a Fish Biologist. ODF&W cut back on their Fish Biologist, so luckily there was an opening available for Bill to transfer over as a Wildlife Biologist.

Margaret and I are planning on taking off the whole month of July and travel around Oregon in our travel trailer. There is so much of Oregon that we haven't seen, so we are a little excited about it. Of course we went out and got our fishing license so we can catch our dinner while staying at different lakes and rivers.

Now that I've told all of you what's happening in Douglas County, all of you Family Bloggers need to POST updates on what's happening in your neck of the woods. Take care, and may God bless. Margaret & Lloyd

Grandkids -- What a Blessing!

Today Margaret and I had so much fun playing with Jack and Sam. They are growing like weeds and both are so smart. I couldn't help but take a few updated pictures of the grand kids just to show off a bit.

I hope everyone else is doing well. Now I want to see some updated pictures of your kids or grand kids, whatever it may be. Got to go, so take care and may God bless.

Our Trip to Washington

We went to Great Wolf Lodge last week and had a blast. It is off exit 88 in Washington. We are getting ready for Jacin to leave next week, or the following weeks to come. We hope all is well with everyone else's families. Love the Klopp's

Happy Birthday Bill!

The whole family gathered over at Bill and Amy's house yesterday evening to enjoy a great dinner and celebrate Bill's birthday. Hard to believe that our little Billy is now middle-aged. In the picture above, Jack and Sammy help their daddy unwrap his birthday presents.

Jack entertained us by playing the piano and singing his ABC's.

Roseburg Crud!!!

Well, last week was miserable because I had the Crud. The doctor said it was a virus so all I needed to do was "wait it out" for about 7-10 days. Guess what? Margaret now has the Crud. I was thinking about blaming it on Jack or Sammy, but being we haven't seen them all week, that was sort of hard to do.

We had plans on heading for the coast for three days on Monday. Not now! Being I'm just getting over the Crud and Margaret is going into her third day of it, we decided to cancel the trip. Maybe next week!

I hope everyone else is doing well. Tomorrow we plan on going over to Bill and Amy's house to celebrate Bill's birthday. So, today we are both staying inside, keeping warm, so maybe tomorrow we'll fell better.

Don't be bashful about POSTING and letting everyone know how things are going with you and your families. Take care and may God bless.

God's Morning to All!

I have been scanning all my mom's old photo's and ran across this one. For now I'll see who can names these kids, but will come back later to see if you are right and post who they are. :-)

I have spent a lot of time getting a lot of the old photos onto the computer so I put them on dvd for my kids. It is fun to see so many smiling faces and who looks like who. Margaret my nephew Jon said you look a lot like Alice May my mom.

Hint for the picture takers ~ write a year and who they are on them for someday your kids or even great grandkids are going to be trying to figure it out.

Have a blessed day ~ Hugs ♥ Prayers Bonnie

Happy Birthday Jack!

Now blow out the candles Jack.

Jack likes his birthday cake!

All the family met at the Wild Life Safari today to celebrate Jack's 3rd birthday. It was wonderful to watch as Jack took us through the Safari Village to see all the different animals. We then had lunch at the Rhino Restaurant, then we all watched as Jack opened up his birthday gifts. (More photographs in our gallery)

News from Roseburg

Good morning family! Just thought I'd let everyone know how things are going down south in Roseburg. Not much happening this last week. Margaret and I are doing fine. I'm fighting a little head-cold, but otherwise all is well.

We are still making our trips to the YMCA each morning. Retirement has been keeping us pretty busy. With the volunteer work at the church and watching our dear little grand kids, along with taking off every now and then to the coast, we are really enjoying it.

Trey came over last night and we enjoyed dinner and played a few hands of penny ante poker. Trey is still waiting to see if North River Boats will be hiring him back this next week.

How is everyone else doing? I certainly hope all is well with you and that the Lord is working in your lives. Whenever any of you are passing by Roseburg in your travels, please stop by and say hello.

Take care and God bless, Margaret & Lloyd
