Mary, Andrea, Andrew, Andrea, Bernie, Margaret, Lloyd Yesterday we drove out to see Louis' wife, Andrea and her family in Carol Stream. We had a really good visit with them. Afterwards we drove over to the nursing home and visited with Louis. Louis was alert and seemed to know who we were. Margaret and Louis talked about when they were growing up in the Springbrook area. I took several pictures and a video of Louis saying "hi" to all the family.
Today we went over to Andrea's house again for a picnic lunch. We had lots of laughs and talked about times when we were growing up. After having lunch, Margaret and I dropped by the nursing home to visit with Louis. Louis was not doing to well and was sleeping so we didn't stay long.
Between the visit with Louis and his family, we did a lot of sightseeing around the Carol Stream area. I have placed several pictures in our Trip to Minnesota photo gallery.
We will be taking off tomorrow morning for our journey back home. The only places we plan on stopping to visit is Walls S.D. and Yellowstone Park. We made reservations at Champoeg park for July 31st and August 1st.
