We had fun playing with Sammy today while Amy took Jack to the library. Sammy sure is growing and he is so cute. Of course this is coming from Sammy's grandma and grandpa's point of view. Now all we need to do is for all the other grandma's and grandpa's to post photographs of their cuties.

What was it?

We had a good Easter, including hearing from our youngest son which was wonderful!

However it was wierd too as I encountered a really strange visitor when I was taking my morning shower. I'm still not sure what to think about 'it'.

First there were ears---(technically speaking I did not see this wonderful shadow during the first 'live', surprise, unrehearsed and totally unexpected appearance of 'it')

Then there it was; whatever you call it.

Yes, only a mother -- or a wife of many, many years could love a face like that! That hubby of mine--you never know what to expect from him--even when you are just taking a shower. .

Silly man. But a good man too---and one willing to recreate the 'event' for you all and give me the OK to post 'it'.

Spending Easter with Our Family

What a blessing it was to be able to spend Easter day with our family. After church, Amy and Bill came over with Jack and Sammy, and Trey came over with Bryson and Shae-Lea. We had a wonderful Easter dinner and enjoyed playing with all the kids. In the above picture, Trey and Bill go out on the deck to hide the Easter eggs for the kids to hunt.

As you can see in the above video, all of the kids enjoyed hunting the Easter eggs and all of us "big kids" enjoyed watching. (More Easter Photographs in our gallery.)

New Grandbaby "Boy"

My stepdaughter Tiffany had her first child. His name is Mahkyia Clay Goodwin. He was five weeks early, but was still 6 pound 10 ounces. If she would of went full term he probably would have been a 10 pound baby. Mahkyia only had to stay in NICU for a couple a days. He's been home now for a couple of weeks and gaining weight. He is nice and healthy, as is his mom. He was born 03/28/09 at 11:47 PM. I will be putting some more pictures in my gallery.
